A range of imaging and electronic technologies has gone
into perfecting Fujifilm's exclusive Printpix system.
Special Printpix paper consists of yellow, magenta and
cyan layers. When exposed to the heat generated by the
printer's thermal head, these layers can combine 256
YMC gradations to produce up to 16.77 million colors.
This huge spectrum is able to reproduce all the hues of
the original image. The Printpix system also has the
added convenience of requiring only paper, thereby
eliminating the time-consuming tasks and environmental
effects of using ink or ribbon.

The Printpix Digital Station 400 is comprised of two
compact units: the Image Controller IC-1000 and the
Digital Color Printer NC-400D. The system affords a range
of retail solutions ranging from self-service stands to
behind-the-counter digital camera developing services.

installed almost anywhere in your shop, either together or
separately. The system fits your budget too, enabling you
to introduce a valuable new customer service for a

The Printpix Digital Station 400 is designed to connect up
to four NC-400D printers according to your expanding
business needs. With four NC-400D printers, maximum
productivity will generate 250 102 x 148mm (4 x 6 inch )
prints per hour.

photo-lab quality prints. Printing to special Printpix paper,
Image Intelligence Technology generates perfectly
balanced prints from digital camera data using color
regeneration technology developed by Fujifilm's highly
regarded photo finishing lab specialists.

Simply insert a roll of Printpix paper in the printer and you're

x 8-inch) prints. Requiring no ink ribbons, toner, or dyes, the

Future expandability.
The IC-1000 incorporates a SCSI interface and USB ports
to support future upgrades, such as the addition of a
scanner or CD-R/W drive, enabling you to expand your
